I decided to stay with the main theme of my last project using chalk and also tried to base a little bit of my new one on the Love Letters Project that I was compared to. In adjusting my project to location I wrote lyrics that reminded me of my fiance and chalked them on the center of the Universe. I did this in part because I liked the way the messages there seem to weather better than on sidewalks and also because of the symbolism that she was the center of my Universe. Also the two main themes here - music and love - are universal in that I hope they reminded anyone who read them of someone special or at the very least their favorite song.
These writings are more general, but I think they are more effective as love notes to strangers (the public). I can see why you picked the center of the universe, but I think anything written on that would be taken down right away and you could get in trouble. Could you write these on the ground, but in a place that is still protected from the rain, etc? Maybe there is a similar point of intersection that people don't consider to be so important.
